The Great Vlogger Shania Sierra. An Interview with Shania Sierra by Jason E. Foss
SHANIA SIERRA
"Great Vloggers and Bloggers are unique in their own right. They have something to give. They have a purpose. They have a presence about them. Part of their goals are to help other people in some way. They inspire us to put ourselves out there. Shania Sierra is one of these great Vloggers. She let's us know what motivates her."
Jason E. Foss
Jason: "What motivates you the most about being a Professional Vlogger and Blogger?"
Shania:
"What motivates me the most is having a felony conviction. I started looking into freelance writing about 7 months ago. I wanted to make income on the side or somehow work my way into creating my own business. I didn’t know how, so I started freelance writing, which led into my blogging and creating my own website for my blogs."
"That then turned into me making my YouTube videos. I want to openly share and talk about life, and my own experiences and struggles that I’ve had to face, and things Ive been through. I want to help others who also have a felony on their record. Because life is hard with a felony conviction."
Jason: "You are very good at what you do and there are a lot of qualities one must have to be successful. What do you feel is the best characteristic to have in order to be successful?"
Shania: "The best characteristics to have in my opinion is integrity, grit, loyalty, honesty, and discipline. A strong willed person with those characteristics will always be successful because they will never stop learning, achieving, and growing."
Jason: "Do you have any other Passion or Life Goals and if so what are they?"
Shania:
"I have many life goals! My first goal is to get into school for Aesthetics, finish the program, in the mean time work a part time job. I want to also buy a house with land, with my husband. I want to be successful in many ways. It’s just harder for me with the type of felony I have. But I know somewhere down the road someone will give me a break, and hire me and give me an opportunity."
Jason: "For those that are inspired by you and would like to chase their dreams and achieve their Life Goals what advice would you give them that would help them to be successful?"
Shania:
"My advice would be to never give up. I know it’s easier said then done, but it can be done. I’ve been rejected, denied, and let go from so many places. Because they see what’s on my record, and not me as a person, and for who I am. I’m labeled as dangerous or a liability.
"Nothing sucks more than not being able to do the one thing that people come here to America to do. To work. Because of one stupid thing I did as a teenager. You can’t give up. You have to keep trying. Somewhere down the road someone will see your drive, and passion and they will gravitate towards you. Giving up is the last thing you would ever want to do. Trust me. Don’t let the system win."
Jason: "You are very motivating. For those that would love to support you how can they do so and what is the best way for them to contact you?"
Shania:
"I think the best way to support me is whatever way they feel like it. If that’s messaging me and talking to me, or simply following me, I appreciate it. Anyway is fine with me, a DM on social media is fine with me."

"Fairy Gazing" An Interview with Lori Katherine by Jason E. Foss
Lori Katherine
"When people look for a great poetry book there are a few names that come to mind. The name of one of these great Poets is Lori Katherine. We all have a creative side to us. The imagination is a magical thing. Her book "Fairy Gazing" captures that magic. She was nice enough to share with us what inspired her."
Jason E. Foss
Jason: "When did you start writing creatively?"
Lori:
"I began writing poems at a young age. I want to say around 7 or 8 years old. I have always loved to write, whether it was stories about ghosts or love. I craved just sitting down with a clean piece of paper, my perfectly sharpened pencils, and just allow the words to flow. I was always willing to share my work with my family and friends, but never confident enough to actually put that work out to complete strangers! For many years, my family and friends would ask, “Why don’t you just write a book of poetry?” I haven’t looked back."
Jason: "What inspired your most recent collection of poetry, "Fairy Gazing"?"
Lori:
"I’ve been pushing myself to write new material for the collection and truly capture those light and airy emotions that reminded readers of Spring and hope. I want my readers to get so lost in the collection that they forget it’s just a book of poetry. I just love this collection this time around and the deeper emotions each poem touches upon. I smile every time I think about it."
Jason: "What are you currently working on?"
Lori:
"Well, I am currently working on my 4th book and I’m excited to get back to the raw emotional poetry that I truly am passionate about."
Jason: "Who has had the most significant impact on your writing and how have they supported your journey as a writer?"
Lori:
"Super question! I would have to say that my family and my friends have had a tremendous impact on my writing and what I write about. All of them have given me their opinions on my poems, advice, suggestions and have been a great audience."
Jason: "What three pieces of advice would you give a new writer?"
Lori:
"My advice to them would be to never doubt yourself. You CAN do this! Surround yourself with a wonderful support system and try not to compare yourself to other poets. Develop your own style and just write what makes you happy!"
Jason: " What three things do you do to support other authors?"
Lori:
"Three things I do to show my support towards other authors are helping to promote their work by liking and retweeting their posts, commenting on their posts, and purchasing their books."

"Babygirl Let's Talk" by Kiara Mata An Interview with Kiara Mata by Jason E. Foss
"Great Leaders care about people. They strive to make others around them better. They look past themselves. I enjoy looking for this kind of person to find out what motivates them. Kiara Mata is one of these Great Leaders. She let us know what motivates her."
- Jason E. Foss
Jason: "You are an inspiration to a lot of people. A lot of women are looking forward to your book coming out. Even guys look forward to buying it because it's about empowering women without bashing men. What is your motivation?"
Kiara:
"My motivation behind “Babygirl Let’s Talk” is to remind women how powerful, how beautiful and how necessary they are to this world. As a woman, especially in the 21st century, I think it’s easy to get caught up and forget your worth because you’re constantly trying to prove it to others, whether it’s in a romantic relationship, at the office or even to your own family. Women wear so many hats, from mother to daughter, to employee or boss, or wife. I’ve forgotten my worth in relationships and settled for less than what I know I deserve, so I want to help other women not fall into that. I want to be their cheerleader, their motivator, and their reminder that they are worth more than diamonds or rubies."
Jason: "You are very good at what you do and there are a lot of qualities one must have to be successful. What do you feel is the best characteristic to have in order to be successful?"
Kiara:
"I think the most important quality you need to be successful is grit. People will doubt you, question you, judge you and completely misunderstand you on your journey to becoming whoever and whatever God’s called you to be. For me, grit means having a dream worth fighting for, thick skin against the naysayers and most importantly, a relentless work ethic. "
Jason: "Do you have any other Passion or Life Goals and if so what are they?"
Kiara:
"I love to spend time with my family. Besides traveling and being able to impact others globally, a personal goal of mine is to show my family the American Dream. My grandparents emigrated to New York when they were 20 years old, I want to show them they didn’t leave their country, their culture and language just to struggle to get by and pay the bills. I want to show them the dream." I also want to help people realize they can live that same dream too. I want them to know they don’t have settle or give up on their hopes of becoming whoever they’d like."
Jason: "For those that are inspired by you and would like to chase their dreams and achieve their Life Goals what advice would you give them that would help them to be successful?"
Kiara:
"I think everyone has their own path in life, but relationships are something we all have in common. People are a blessing to us. Nothing is coincidental, we cross paths for a reason, whether it’s for a season or lifetime. Learn from the people God’s placed in your life, even the ones that try your patience, they’re there for your good too even when it doesn’t feel like it."
Jason: "You are very motivating. For those that would love to support you how can they do so and what is the best way for them to contact you?"
