"The Seclusion" by Jacqui Castle. An Interview with Jacqui Castle by Jason E. Foss

                                                                                      JACQUI CASTLE

"Great Authors have a lot of things about them that separates them from other writers.  Their stories help our imagination to come alive in their words.  Some of their Fans and Readers live a normal life and they look forward to Reading something intense.  When they are bored they can rely on the excitement these Great Authors provide them in each and every chapter.  There is something about the way they balance a great story with just the right touch of romance as Main Characters become some your favorites as each page is turned.  Jacqui Castle is one of these Great Authors.  She let us know what motivated her."

                                                                                                   Jason E. Foss

Jason:                                    What motivated you to write "The Seclusion"?

Jacqui:

"The idea for The Seclusion came to me during the primary election campaign. I started it as a short story, and it snowballed from there.  The first draft was finished in the summer of 2016, and since then it has evolved.  It became a cathartic experience that I turned to every day for several months in a row as I started to play with some of the 'what ifs' that were troubling me at the time."

"Though it does walk the line between fact and fiction, more than anything The Seclusion, like other fictional stories, is about the characters. There is a splash of romance and a healthy dose of perseverance as the main characters explore what makes life worth living by finding joy in unlikely places. It is about digging deep, figuring out how to tap into your own truth in a society that conditions residents since birth."

Jason:                           "What characteristic of Patricia can you relate to the most and why?"

Jacqui:

"Patricia was named after my grandmother, and in my mind when I was writing her, I was imagining a young woman down the familial line a few generations. So, she basically transformed into an amalgam of many of the women in my family. I'd say one of the most relatable aspects that I wrote into Patch's character was her anxiety. It is something a lot of people struggle with in our current political and societal climate, and something that I struggle with, so I wanted to write that into my main character."

Jason:                             "For your fans and book lovers briefly describe "The Seclusion""

Jacqui:

"The Seclusion is a science fiction, dystopian novel that takes place in a future America in the year 2090. The country, at this time, is secluded from the rest of the world and is run by a group called The Board. Much like in books such as 1984 or Fahrenheit 451, surveillance is heavy and information is tightly regulated."

"The two main characters, Patricia (or Patch) and Rexx are scientists who stumble upon a cache of hidden contraband left behind by someone in the past. They start to question the information that they receive from their government, information that they have always trusted wholeheartedly. This leads them on a mission to begin unraveling the true history of what has lead the country to it's seclusion from the rest of the world and the very real impact it is having on people they know and love."

Jason:                                "Are you working on another book and if so what can you tell us about it?"

Jacqui:

"I am! I'm currently drafting the sequel to The Seclusion. The first book was a crowdfunding endeavor supported in its early days by over 400 backers, and then published by the reader-driven publisher Inkshares. The sequel will follow a similar path and after the crowdfunding campaign wraps up, production will begin, and I would like to think it will hit shelves in late 2020 or 2021."

"Anyone interested in becoming a backer for that project can learn more here, and will receive a free copy of book one plus other perks as a thank you for their support. I am also working on another, separate novel with a working title of 'Apate.' The story is still in the early stages, but I'm incredibly excited for it to develop. Apate will take place in the near future and will be told from two vastly different perspectives — a congressional intern's and a NASA scientist's. There will be an asteroid (named Apate after the Greek Goddess of deceit) plummeting toward Earth, and let's just say that all is not what it seems to be and that a few disgruntled scientists have reached their breaking point when it comes to disrespect and funding cuts and they have a few tricks up their sleeve."

Jason:                                    "For those that want to read your book what is the easiest way to buy "The Seclusion"?"

Jacqui:

"The Seclusion is available at all major retailers including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Indie Bound(order to your local bookstore). You can also order directly from me, or as noted before I'm offering a free copy for all who support the crowdfunding campaign for the sequel."

"Jacqui Castle was motivated by the primary election campaign.  There are plenty of things to like about this Great Author but here are some of my favorites.  The fact that one of her main characters Patricia was named after her Grandmother and the way she imagined many women in her family generations was very creative.  I know her family must appreciate that.  Another one of my favorite things was how she lets us know that she deals with anxiety just like her main character.  Many people deal with the same thing and can relate to that.  When you look at her talent and all the great reviews from her book she proves to us that you can have anxiety and still be successful.  If you are looking to read a book that's intriguing and gives your imagination a look at a possible future election this book is the one to read.  Click on the Link 1 above and buy "The Seclusion".  You can also go to the Crowdfunding Campaign for the sequel by clicking on Link 2 where you'll have the chance to Pre-Order "The Seclusion 2".

"Love Is Not Love" by Candice Lee Brown. An Interview with Candice Lee Brown by Jason E. Foss

                                                                             CANDICE LEE BROWN

"Great Authors always seem to have something that drives them.  Whether it is that story that they can't get out of their head or the desire to inspire others there is something about them that stands out.  There are some Authors that have had quite a Journey.  And when the smoke cleared there stood someone smiling at tomorrow knowing that they conquered the road behind them and the road ahead of them was cleared because they knew the person was a Fighter.  Someone that not only overcame the odds but showed others that they can do it to.  Candice Lee Brown is one of those Great Authors.  She let us know what motivates her."

                                                                                                                Jason E. Foss

Jason:                                  "What motivated you to start writing your book?"

Candice:

"My author brand, women who overcome the odds, was birthed from my own experience as an overcomer. I became inspired to tell the story of a young woman who escapes sex trafficking by a friend who runs a home for girls with that background. My new adult suspense novel, Love is Not Love, is the result of that inspiration"

Jason:                                    "Which character can you relate to most and why?"

Candice:

"I relate somewhat to the main character, Ceara because, like me, she overcomes an addiction to cocaine. However, it is her rescuer, drug-dealer-gone-straight Danny, whom I most relate to. Danny has a rough past but a heart of gold, and he longs to redeem his past by keeping Ceara hidden and safe from the man who trafficked her. Danny longs to save her but, like the many women I've mentored over the years, there are ways she ends up saving him instead."

Jason:                                     "For your fans and those who will want to buy your book, briefly describe what is about."

Candice:

"Ceara O'Doughtery is a young woman with a new lease on life. Following an encounter with a dealer intent on going straight, she ends up on the run from the man who trafficked her for sex and drugs. Scorned and bruised by Ceara’s disappearance, her obsessed pimp methodically tracks her.  Despite Ceara’s brand-new town and identity, he utilizes charm and an unlikely ally to hunt her down.  With each thwarted attempt to find her, his hunger and obsession mount. Her formidable mind makes locating her a challenge, but he knows it’s only a matter of time before he tracks her down and presents her with a choice: return to the only person who has ever shown her love or choose to end a pathetic existence without him.  Killing Ceara would hurt him, but he’s willing to make that sacrifice to save the woman he loves."

Jason:                                        "Is there any other book you are working on besides the one that is coming out? If so, what can you share with us about it?"

Candice:

"In addition to Love is Not Love, I am also working on a book on prayer that is a partial memoire. The working title is Cocaine to the Classroom and takes prayers I prayed both as an atheist and a young Christian, paralleling prayers in the Bible."

Jason:                                            "For your fans and book lovers that want to read your book when it comes out, what is the best way for them to reach you?"

"Slow Drip" by Gary Polisano. Interview with Gary Polisano by Jason E. Foss

                                                                                    GARY POLISANO

"Great Authors leave a lasting impression on the Reader.  They make you think throughout the book never really knowing what's going to happen next thrilling us with the element of surprise.  Their books stand out.  Their plot keeps you glued to the pages.  And when you are done Reading their book you don't say 'I just read this interesting book but I'm having a hard time remembering who wrote it'.  No, you remember the name of the book Title and the name of the Author.  Gary Polisano is one of these Great Authors.  He was nice enough to let us know what motivates him."

Jason:                        "What motivated you to write "Slow Drip"?"

Gary:

"I'm a big fan of detective mysteries and thriller mysteries, especially Michael Connelly and Ken Follett.  Always wanted to write a book and now that I am partially retired, I have the time to do it.  My goal was to write the book and leave it be, just satisfied that I had accomplished something that always interested me.  However, as friends and family asked to read the manuscript, they all seemed to be highly impressed with the plot, story-line and characters.  Their encouragement has motivated me to continue on and pursue the "series" with a renewed vigor and passion."

Jason:                       "Which character do you admire the most and why?"

Gary:

"That would be the protagonist and lead character, Tina Patterson, a detective that excels even under adversity.  She however, is flawed (like all of us), but in a way that both helps her and hurts her.  She is truly an overachiever and is often underestimated even by those that trust her.  In the end, (and in the case of Slow Drip), with a bit of help, she comes out on top."

Jason:                        "For your fans and book lovers briefly describe "Slow Drip"."

Gary:

"There are really two stories told in Slow Drip (a title that describes the character and method of the killer) .  The under-story is about a high school baseball star with the dreams of playing in the "bigs" some day.  He gets hit in the head with the baseball during a game and is rushed to emergency.  Days later, he finds the body of the third victim of a serial killer that is on the loose.  Events cause his life to get turned upside down, school work, a budding love affair, the relationship with his parents and most importantly for him, his baseball ability diminished rapidly.  He hold some keys to the murders that stem from his discovery.  The primary story focuses on the rampage of the serial killer and how he selects, plans and plots his next victim(s).  He is meticulous in his planning and execution of each murder - but something goes wrong, forcing him to act on impulse.  The murderer is skilled and brilliant and he kills his victims in a particular sick manner while leaving intentional clues for the police, that emboldens him in a unique way.  Tina Patterson is the detective that chases the murderer while under pressure to bring him quickly to justice, all the while having her ability as a police detective questioned by her commanding officer.  However, the reader learns that Tina possesses an extra tool in her crime solving arsenal, that of a sixth-sense ... one of intuition.  She relies on her gut feelings often in her decision making and more times than not, they pay off.  Eventually, the teenage baseballer and Detective Patterson help each other, in more ways than one!"

Jason:                      "Are you working on another book and if so what can you tell us about it?"

Gary:

"The second in the series, yet to be titled, picks up the very next day that Slow Drip ends.  Readers will understand why as they get to the final chapter of Slow Drip.  The focus again is on Tina Patterson and her ability to solve a new set of murders and related crimes.  There is also a key, loose end. from Slow Drip that needs closure, and again, it will become obvious to readers early on, in the new book."

Jason:                     "For those that want to read your book what is the easiest way to buy "Slow Drip"?"

Gary:

"Slow Drip is available through Amazon both as an e-book for $1.99 and paperback at $7.99.  It is also available in e-book format through Google Play, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo,  Scribd, Odilo, Bookmate and 24Symbols."

                                                                                                 CLOSING

The encouragement of Gary Polisano's family that motivated him to continue the "series" with even more passion than before.  My favorite thing about Gary was the fact that he is a fan of Detective and Thriller mysteries.  When you are a fan of something or someone that shows that one has the ability to show appreciation.  By recognizing how great someone's work is will reflect in your own work.  His Friends and Family saw something in his talent for writing instantly and thankfully Great books were created because of it.  What motivates us in life is just the beginning of the Journey.  Gary Polisano used that motivation to create unique stories.  He has a lot of fans and Great reviews from Satisfied Readers.  He not only writes for his love of Thriller Mysteries but he also writes for each and every person that picks up his books.  Click on the link above and buy "Slow Drip".

"The Dark Restarter" by Sean McMahon. An Interview with Sean McMahon by Jason E. Foss

                                                                                       SEAN MCMAHON

"I am always fascinated by Great Authors.  Each one standing out in their own way and satisfying their fans with books that never disappoint.  Sean McMahon is one of these Great Authors.  This is my second Interview with him and once again he has the same high energy and humble appreciation for the position he put himself in as a Great Author.  His success is not just chance rather his quality of work and his unique creative abilities.  From his website to his book covers along with each of the chapters in his books his attention to detail creates a one of a kind experience for all of his Readers.  Now he's back to share with us what motivated him for "The Dark Restarter"."

                                                                                                             Jason E. Foss

Jason:                           "What motivated you to write "The Dark Restarter"?"

Sean:                            "Hey Jason! Thank you for having me back!"

"My goal with my debut Fir Lodge was to make a self-contained story that felt complete for the reader by the end. But early on in the outlining stage I knew there was more of Hal and Kara’s story that I wanted to tell. Interwoven between the chapters of Fir Lodge are many clues as to the true endgame of their story, and so The Dark Restarter was always a part of the story’s design."

"There were certain characters and components that I left vague in the first novel, because I knew I wanted to explore them in much greater detail. But as for the motivation to write it, it was honestly all thanks to the readers, man!  Their kindness and support in getting the first book off the ground, coupled with the way Hal and Kara resonated with them made it a joy to write."

"I didn’t just want to write the sequel, I owed it to the readership to do so."

Jason:                            "What characteristic of Hal can you relate to the most and why?"

Sean:

"I think with Hal, he wants to do the right thing. He tries his best to make the right call and the right choices. But like all of us, sometimes he gets it wrong. For me, Hal gets to represent the reader, almost. He has this wacky way of breaking the fourth wall, albeit only slightly. He sees things unfolding and if they don’t feel real or true he shouts it from the rooftops. So I think that’s the part of Hal I see in myself a little. He won’t be quiet if something isn’t right. He speaks up haha."

Jason:                            "For your fans and book lovers briefly describe "The Dark Restarter"."

Sean:                              "Uh oh! Quick Jason, to the elevator!"

"Okay first up you say fans and that still blows my mind that there are people out there, actual humans who are reading my thing. I’ve been incredibly lucky to be welcomed into the writing arena the way I have, by both writers and readers."

                                                                      <elevator dings>

                                          "Dammit, I wasted a floor!"

"In Fir Lodge, we had good people thrust into an impossible situation, trying to fix time and save their future, whilst trying to save the lives of others along the way. The Dark Restarter is the other side of that coin. I wanted to ask the question “but what if you didn’t care about other people?” What if you had no empathy at all? And what if someone of that dark disposition, someone devoid of compassion or the wellbeing of others had access to the same sandbox of abilities a Restarter had?"

"What effect would that have on the future? How big would those ripples get?"

"If I did my job right, that’s The Dark Restarter."

Jason:                                  "Are you working on another book and if so what can you tell us about it?"

Sean:

"I am! You know, I was going to take a break. Everyone told me to take a break. In fairness I left it 24 hours after the launch of TDR before stating the next instalment of the Restarter series.

It’s very early days. I have the outline and I’m about 30 Chapters in right now.

But what I can tell you is the theme I’m going for. As we fly towards the finish line of Hal and Kara’s adventure through time, there are a lot of loose ends to tie up.

The third book focuses on the desire to find purpose, that little itch I think we all have in terms of wanting to be a part of something bigger.

I aim to explore the theme of legacy. And how the future could evolve into something far different to what we imagine. Or want."

Jason:                                    "For those that want to read your book what is the easiest way to buy
                                               "The Dark Restarter"?

Sean:

"Both Fir Lodge and The Dark Restarter are available on Amazon and the Kindle Store, both digitally and in paperback. If you live in the States, buying the paperback will let you download a digital copy for free. And there are actually some sneaky Easter eggs that complement each version."

"It’s been cool catching up dude, thank you for the opportunity!"

                                                                                         CLOSING

What I like most about listening to Sean was how his Passion for writing is constant but his motivation to write "The Dark Restarter" was his Readers.  The fact that he doesn't take his supporters for granted is refreshing to hear.  His appreciation for them gives his words much more meaning then if he merely wrote for himself.  When you write with a purpose that is bigger than yourself that is when a great story is written.  Sean McMahon is one of those Authors that refuses to give his Readers any less than his best.  Click on the link below and buy "The Dark Restarter".

"The Haven" by Kimberly Reynolds. An Interview with Kimberly Reynolds by Jason E. Foss

                           Kimberly Reynolds

"Great Authors have the ability to create amazing stories and they do it in a way that offers their Readers a unique experience.  Whether it is the story that keeps you wanting more or the main characters that interests you so much, you are able to appreciate how their passion for writing is shown throughout their book.  And by the end you realize that these Authors are the very reason why we can all get lost in a great story.  Kimberly Reynolds is one of these great Authors.  She let us know what motivated her."

                                             Jason E. Foss

Jason:          "What motivated you to write The Haven?"

Kimberly:

"I began reading the dystopia genre by accident. It was never something I was drawn to or interested in reading. I read the book One Second After by William R. Forstchen and became completely hooked. The novel deals with an unexpected electromagnetic pulse attack on the United States as it affects the people living in and around a small town in North Carolina. Former Secretary of State, Newt Gingrich wrote the forward for the book and I sincerely felt fear for the possibility that an EMP strike could really happen. That book led me to voraciously devour the genre."

"I read every book I could find about the topic of EMP destruction. Shortly after, I had a very realistic dream that came to me every night for about a month. I became obsessed with the story that played out to me every night. I found that I could hardly wait to go to bed so that I could continue the story. It played out like a movie with very vivid detail, places and characters. I knew I had to put my dream on paper to bring Baron St. John and Alannah Spencer to life. From there I began writing it down in notebooks and sticky notes that I had shoved in seemingly every corner of my life."

"The Haven became the name of my journaling very early on. Quickly, I amassed vast quantities of notebooks filled with research and scenes. The Haven is a conglomeration of two years of writing. I hope to offer my readers an exciting escape even if it’s only temporary. When they finish the book, I want them to realize the plausibility of the situation and make the life changes to protect themselves and their families…just in case."

Jason:               "Which character can you relate to the most and why?"

Kimberly:

"As I began to develop the characters, it became a natural progression to create realistic personas based on my vivid dreams and the realistic world that unfolded to me nightly. Looking back, I see much of myself and experiences in Alannah. Her ability to mold herself to fit any situation. She’s an introvert but could easily win an academy award for morphing her personality to match given circumstances."

Jason:                "For your fans and book lovers briefly describe The Haven."

Kimberly:

"The book is a gripping post apocalyptic EMP survival thriller with edge of your seat twists and turns. Baron St. John has an inside track on the inevitable possibility of an attack against the US. He begins his journey, spends years preparing, building a community to save all he can. Just before the nation’s electrical grid is obliterated and the country is plunged into chaos, he meets her, Alannah Spencer. The only woman strong enough to stand with him. In the midst of a crumbling society, exists love."

Jason:              "Are you working on another book and if so what can you tell us about it?"

Kimberly:

"The Haven is book 1 in The Haven trilogy. Book 2 explores life living without technology or even the basics everyone has grown accustomed to and takes for granted. Factions within the country war against each other for survival and control."

Jason:               "For those that want to read your book when do you believe it will be available for preorder and what is the easiest way to keep in touch with you?"

Kimberly:

"Currently, on my website at www.kimberlyreynoldsauthor.wordpress.com The Haven can be preordered. The book is scheduled for release this summer. I can be followed on Twitter at @KReynoldsAuthor."

                                CLOSING

"Kimberly Reynolds was motivated after she read the book 'One Second After' by William R. Forstchen.  What draws me to Kimberly and her creative mind is when she said the idea of an unexpected  electromagnetic pulse attack got her hooked.  She sincerely felt fear for the possibility that an EMP strike could really happen and that book led her to voraciously devour the genre.  Not only do I enjoy hearing her confidence and excitement for writing this book but when someone is hooked on a topic they are going to give you their best work.  The story is unique and the characters are some of the ones strong enough to match the intensity of the situation they must overcome.  To write an exciting book like this and to be able to have love in the midst of chaos is one of many reasons why this is going to be worth the wait.  Click on the link above and Preorder "The Haven"."

C.J. Geisel "Lowcountry Incantations" An Interview with C.J. Geisel by Jason E. Foss

                                                                                          C.J. GEISEL

"Great Authors have this talent of taking their ideas and passions and expanding it to create amazing stories that the world can relate to.  They selflessly have the Reader in mind making sure they not only learn from their story but they use their creative writing talents to keep them engaged and entertained the whole time as well.  They write about things they are passionate about so when the Reader is locked in to the story they are enjoying every chapter because the Authors passion is felt throughout the story.  Whether it's their love of the country or their passion to open the Readers eyes to the magic of their words they capture the essence of everything they wanted us to feel.  Whether you want to read to escape the realities of the world or to use the Adventure in the book you are reading to start your own Adventure when the book you're reading is finished there are very talented writers that can do this for you.  C.J. Geisel is one of these great Authors.  She let us know what motivated her."

Jason:                                  "What motivated you to write "Lowcountry Incantations"?"

C.J.:

"A number of things inspired me to write "Lowcountry Incantations."  I am so in love with the low country itself, everywhere from Savannah to Charleston.  Every time I visit, I feel like I'm home.  There is so much rich history in these places and I wanted to make sure to at least pay tribute to the history and the culture.  Secondly, I went through an experience of abuse in my past that really opened my eyes to psychopathy and mental health in general.  I find Psychology fascinating and wanted to make that a main theme in my story.  Last, but certainly not least, I wanted to shine a light on the plight of the pit bull breeds (also nicknamed "bully breeds").  I wanted to show everyone just how beautiful and sweet they are, and also how mistreated and misunderstood they are."

Jason:                                   "What characteristic of Quinn's can you relate to the most and why?"

C.J.:

"Quinn's character is very loosely based on myself.  Although, she may be a bit thinner than I am!"

Jason:                                     "For your fans and book lovers briefly describe "Lowcountry Incantations".

C.J.:

""Lowcountry Incantations" is a story about many central themes in life- love and trust.  It incorporates elements of crime, magic, and Psychology.  I wanted to make the book relate-able while still bringing in a world of magic and mystery.  In giving the story a first person narrative, it offers the reader a deeper insight into Quinn's thinking and insecurities.  I wanted to make my audience think, "Hey, I know what that feels like!"

Jason:                                     "Are you working on another book and if so what can you tell us about it?"

C.J.:

"I am currently working on the next book in the series, titled "Lowcountry Convictions."  Without giving too much away, most of the characters return to solve another crime, helping out another girl in need."

Jason:                                     "For those that want to read your book what is the easiest way to buy "Lowcountry Incantations"?"

C.J.:

"The easiest way to purchase my book is through Amazon, linked here:

                                                                                  https://t.co/ONtkBn9q3S

"It is available in paperback and e-book, and is free to those with Kindle Unlimited."

                                                                                             CLOSING

"C.J. Geisel was motivated by love for the low country itself.  My favorite thing about this great Author is how she wanted to make the book relatable while still bringing in a world of magic and mystery.  So she gave this book a first person narrative.  I love this because it shows how this amazing Author doesn't write for herself.  She really cares about the Readers.  She wants to make sure they are getting their money's worth and she wants them to feel that the book is specially tailored for them.  That care in the storytelling is exactly why people always like to find the Authors next book.  Because it is hard to write something that makes a person feel like the book is exactly what they were looking for but when you are thinking of the Reader while you are writing it the Readers can feel it.  They can sense it as they eagerly turn to the next page and the page after that.  With the care and the passion that this book was made with you are not only going to get lost in this great story but you will also be entertained.  Click on the link above and buy "Lowcountry Incantations"."

Pixie Emslie "His Prize Cheetah" An Interview with Pixie Emslie by Jason E. Foss

                                                                                      PIXIE EMSLIE

"Great Authors have the creative touch to take our fantasies and make us feel like we are living it with their words.  Their stories stimulate our minds like magic as our imaginations come alive with each page.  They write with such intensity.  You read their work and you feel that it is so sexy and passionate and you are hoping it continues and the Author doesn't disappoint.  Instead she makes it even more exotic.  There is no thought of boundaries and limitations only vibrant chapters and main characters that grab your attention.  When you are done reading the book you had such a great experience that your first thought is to remember the Author's name and find another one of their books.  Pixie Emslie is one of those great Authors.  She let us know what motivated her."

                                                                                                            Jason E. Foss

Jason:                               "What motivated you to write "His Prize Cheetah"?

Pixie:

"I first wrote a book called ‘Cry of the Rocks’ which is based in the deep platinum mines, where men and women work shifts in the heat and damp underground. It is a thriller based on a terror attack against the mine, which sets off a rockfall trapping dozens of people in the deep."

"Anyway, having got that out, I thought romance might be a well-paying genre to try. So I wrote my first romance, ‘His Precious Diamond’ which was published by a UK company called Pegasus. Well, they did no marketing at all, so I decided to try and ‘go it alone’ with a new romance. That was the start of ‘His Prize Cheetah’, which I published on Kindle – still hoping I might make some money...(ha ha)."

Jason:                               "Which character can you relate to the most and why?"

Pixie:

"I really like Francesca (Cheetah) as she is sassy, bright and knows what she wants in life. She loves the countryside, is kind to her father – and as a beautiful ambassador for Karen Mines’ wonderful jewellery and artwork she is a wow."

Jason:                                "For your fans and book lovers briefly describe "His Prize Cheetah"."

Pixie:

"The second in the Pixie Emslie Exotica Romance series"

"On the steamy beaches of the tropical island of Mauritius it was passion at first sight for billionaire playboy and womaniser of note, Anton van Coller and the deliciously sexy Francesca – better known to her friends as Cheetah. Both anxious to protect their identities, the two decide simply to enjoy their island fling – and to stay away from the pressures of their own high profile lives."

"But back at her famous father’s ranch in Africa, Francesca is absolutely blown over when Anton turns up unexpectedly. He is involved in a fabulous global jewellery and art exhibition, and Cheetah is dragged into it, her exquisite face perfect to model the creations. She also has to face the fact that she was just one more of the many beautiful and famous names he had taken to his bed – but this time the golden playboy is smitten, while she is absolutely determined not to fall for his charms, or into his bed, again."

"Moving from the wilds of Africa to the glamour of London and New York, this is a story to warm the coldest heart – and leave you longing for more."

Jason:                                  "Are you working on another book and if so what can you tell us about it"?

Pixie:

"I am sure that all writers are always working on another book, even if only in their dreams. But yes, I have a story of a teenage rap singer almost complete and ready to go. It is aimed at the Young Adult market, is not religious but is inspirational and shows that young, black people can be a great success if they stick to their ideals. And then I have been working on a ‘big book’, based on two similar South African men – one white, one black – in World War 2."

Jason:                                   "For those that want to read your book what is the easiest way to buy "His Prize Cheetah"?"

Pixie:

"If this has intrigued you, both ‘His Precious diamond’ and ‘His Prize Cheetah’ are available on Amazon Kindle books – priced at around $3.00."

"Pixie Emslie was motivated by changing to the Romance gemre.  She did a great job in making a book that satisfies and delivers.  My favorite thing about Pixie Emslie is her 'never settle for less' attitude.  She had a Romance book that was published before and they didn't market it at all.  A lot of people would have accepted it.  They would have felt horrible of course but they would hope the next book would get better marketing.  Not Pixie.  She took matters into her own hands.  She knew her passion for writing a great book for her fans wasn't enough.  She wanted to make sure and market it herself and also give the same amount of passion in letting the world know about her work.  Because of her going out of her way to give Readers her very best and making sure people know about it she is not only a talented Author but an inspiration.  Click on the link above and but "His Prize Cheetah".
