Gerri Bowen "Serenity: Acceptance And Love" (Love In Gettis Book 3) An Interview with Gerri Bowen by Jason E. Foss

                                                                                     GERRI BOWEN

"There are some elements a Great Author must have.  There comes a point in their life where they realize that they were meant to be an Author.  They must be creative enough to build a world inside of a great book.  They have this ability to create characters that come alive in the story.  Not only do they successfully figure out how many pieces to the puzzle they need to make the story work.  They figure out where each piece goes perfectly!  Gerri Bowen is one of these great Authors.  She let us know what motivated her."

                                                                                                   Jason E. Foss

Jason:                     "What motivated you to write "Serenity: Acceptance And Love" (Love In Gettis Book 3)?"

Gerri:

"My thoughts about a book included a Dane and a Union Civil War doctor. And it was to be a time travel. After more thought, I wanted it to also be present day. So that is how "Escape To Gettis...And Love", book one in my trilogy, came about. And Gettis actually means Gettysburg."

Jason:                      "What character can you relate to the most and why?"

Gerri:

"There is no one character I relate to more than another, rather, as I write them I become them and then write how I think they'd react."

Jason:                        "For your fans and book lovers briefly describe "Serenity: Acceptance And Love" (Love In Gettis Book 3)?"

Gerri:

"Escape to Gettis...And Love" is a time travel with paranormal elements and humor, and the focus is on family and love."

"Discovery and Love...In Gettis" is book two, and continues the stories within the family and David, the civil war doctor transported back in time, and then forward to modern time. He had a difficult time of it. But he learns quickly."

Jason:                       "Are you working on another book and if so what can you tell us about it?

Gerri:

"A book I wrote before the Gettis series is "Loves Blood", and has some characters that I brought in for my Gettis books."

Jason:                      "For those that want to read your book what is the easiest way they can buy "Serenity: Acceptance And Love" (Love In Gettis Book 3)?"

Gerri:

My books can be found at Amazon. Look up Gerri Bowen books and it lists all my books. And reviews. :)

"Gerri Bowen was motivated by Time Travel and Modern Day.  She also made sure to include a Dane and a Union Civil War doctor.  She knew what she wanted.  That is the perfect recipe for a great book.  I loved her answer when I asked her which one of her characters can she relate to the most.  Her answer was none.  She said as she writes them she becomes them.  That is an amazing way to write.  Her characters are all solid and she doesn't treat any better then the next.  With that focus no wonder she has great Reviews.  Click on the links above and buy "Serenity: Acceptance and Love (Love in Gettis Book 3).
