Pamela Ackerson "Across The Wilderness" An Interview with Pamela Ackerson by Jason E. Foss

                                                                                  PAMELA ACKERSON

"Behind every Great Story read there is a Great Author that wrote it.   Ideas are thought of.  Pictures of characters are flashing in and out of their minds.  Some people tell others 'I had this amazing dream last night!'  A Great Author will take that dream, or that idea, or that character, and build a world around it.  Build a story behind it.  They will find the time period.  They will piece together something incredible and they won't be satisfied writing 'The End' until everything falls in place.  Pamela Ackerson is one of those great Authors and she was happy to let us know what motivates her."

                                                                                                                Jason E. Foss

Jason:                   "What motivated you to write "Across The Wilderness"?

"I love history.  "Across the Wilderness" was one of those stories that had to be told.  It was a dream that kept knocking at my brain and wouldn't stop until the last word was written.

Jason:                   "Describe Dr. Karen Anderson and if there is anything about her character that you can relate to, what would it be?

"Dr. Karen Anderson has all the confidence of a great doctor and business woman.  But, her personal life was always put on the back burner. Helping people always came first and she never had a problem with that. I'd say that was a part of my personality I'd added into her character. I enjoy helping people without expecting anything in return."

Jason:                 "For those that want to read Book 1 Of The Wilderness Series, briefly describe what "Across The Wilderness" is about.

"A strong-willed modern day doctor dreams about being in the mid-1800s with the Lakota Sioux Indians. It took a bit of convincing for her scientific mind to believe that time travel was real. She learns about real love, true friendship, and the promise of tomorrow."

Jason:                "Do you have any books in the works and if so what can you share with us about it?

"My latest WIP is a time travel Texas western.  I absolutely love this story.  He was a character in my most recent release and needed to tell his own story.  All of my stories have hope for a better tomorrow."

Jason:            "For your fans and book lovers that want to read your great book what's the easiest way someone can buy "Across The Wilderness"?"

"All of my books are available on Amazon as ebooks or print. If you prefer to use your favorite bookstore, any of my print books can be ordered through your local bookstore."

"So Pamela's love for history motivated her to write "Across The Wilderness".  You can tell she writes with Passion.  Because of her knowledge of history mixed with her unique imagination she was able to take a dream and give it life inside this book.  Go to and buy "Across The Wilderness"."
