"The End Of Echoes" by Dawn Hosmer. An Interview with Dawn Hosmer by Jason E. Foss.

                                                                                    DAWN HOSMER

"Great Authors have this amazing ability to turn a sentence into the beginning of a great story.  Each sentence connecting the Reader to the next like a beautiful bridge of thoughts.  Each chapter just as important as the one before.  These Authors leave the Reader mesmerized at how focused they are on the story.  So much that they become oblivious to the world around them.  When books cause you to lose track of time you know you picked up the right one.  And when Authors keep your attention time and time again you found someone special.  Their main characters become one of your favorites.  Their Passion for writing matches your Passion for reading their work.  Dawn Hosmer is one of those Great Authors.  She let us know what motivates her."

                                                                                                     Jason E. Foss

Jason:                                            "What motivated you to write "The End Of Echoes"?"

Dawn:

"I experienced the loss of someone close to me when I was young which was part of the inspiration for The End of Echoes. I also spent my career in social work and witnessed first-hand the tragic effects of domestic violence, drug & alcohol addiction, and unresolved grief. All of these factors inspired this book. I’ve always been intrigued by how one event can have such different effects on people involved which is why I told this story from multiple points of view."

Jason:                                             "Which characteristic of Ruby can you relate to the most and why?"

Dawn:

"The characteristic I can relate to the most with Ruby is her love for her children. She doesn’t make the best decisions or ones I would necessarily agree with but there is no doubt she loves her children more than herself."

Jason:                                             "For your fans and book lovers briefly describe "The End Of Echoes"."

Dawn:

"Two families, forever linked by tragedy."

"Ruby Dunkin is in an abusive marriage. Her best efforts aren't enough to shield her two children from an abusive father whose cruelty knows no bounds. Their volatile situation ends in tragedy when Ruby's eldest son, Billy is torn away from everything he loves. Consumed by hatred and self-loathing Billy becomes the thing he hates the most—his father."

"Chelsea Wyatt, a senior in high school, goes missing after work one night, never to return. Her parents are devastated, only knowing this kind of tragedy from the news. Crimes like this are unheard of in their quiet, midwestern town. Consumed by the tragic fate of their friend, family member and neighbor, their lives and futures are forever altered."

"For over eighteen years, no one knows the connection between Ruby Dunkin and Chelsea Wyatt. A journey through time reveals the common thread stitching their heartbreak together. Yesterday echoes throughout each character's life as they decide how, and if, they will break the chains of the past."

"Will they continue to leave a legacy of pain and loss for future generations? Will they break the cycles of abuse that have destroyed so many lives?"

Jason:                                                "Are you working on another book and if so what can you tell us about it?"

Dawn:

"I have completed the first draft of my next book. It is a thriller/suspense that I’m really excited about. It has a unique premise and was so much fun to write. I’ll be able to share more details soon. I have extensive re-writes to do which is what I’ll be tackling next."

Jason:                                                 "For those that want to read your book what is the easiest way to buy "The End Of Echoes"?"

                                                                                            CLOSING

"Dawn Hosmer was inspired by her career in social work and how things like domestic violence, drug and alcohol addiction effected people.  She's always been intrigued by how one event can have such different effects on people involved.  I am very fascinated by her ability to create multiple points of view to give the Reader a taste of what each character is feeling.  This takes a lot of talent and she was able to achieve this.  This is one of many reasons why Dawn Hosmer gives her Readers a unique experience.  Click on the link above and buy "The End Of Echoes".
