MADDIE
"Great Artists have a gift of touching you with their voice. Their words connect to you. Sometimes it feels like time stops and you can almost feel like you understand them. Their Pain. Their Happiness. Their feelings when they wrote that song. Sometimes in life there could be a lot going on to the point that you don't get the chance to appreciate the little things. But every now and then a great somg comes on that makes you take a step back and appreciate the moment. Maddie is one of these Great Artists. She let us know what motivates her."

Jason: "What motivated you to write "Four Chords"?
Maddie:
"“Four Chords” was something that happened after 3 or 4 years of being inspired and working on my songwriting. I had these five songs, and I looked at them once they were all finished and realized that they told a story. I felt that they started and ended together, and that was what inspired me to work on my EP. It was all very spur-of-the-moment, and Four Chords created itself just as much as I created it."
Jason: "Do you have a favorite song of yours or one that means the most to you and if so why?"
Maddie:
"Blue Front Door and Home are both very important songs to me, and that is why they are the bookends of Four Chords. Blue Front Door was my first song to ever play for other people, and the song that sort of kick started the process of recording an EP. Home is about the amazing support system I have in my life, and it reminds me to find comfort in my songwriting. I’m so happy those two songs are the beginning and the end of Four Chords!"
"Probably when my EP was released, so many amazing people reached out to tell me how much they enjoyed it. I wasn’t expecting it at all, and it’s still so amazing and surreal to hear. I still have a long way to go, but I am so thankful for the friends and family who have supported me through it all."
Jason: "What advice would you give to someone that is inspired by you and would love to make their dreams come true?"
Maddie:
"Don’t listen to those nasty voices in your head! Art is hard, and you are your own worst critic. I say all of this, but do I take my own advice? No. But even with those nasty voices, I keep writing. I keep singing. Because I would be too sad if I didn’t. So just keep going. Write good things, bad things, all the things! Eventually it will become a song. At least it has for me."
Jason: "For your fans and music lovers what is the easiest way they can buy "Four Chords"?"
Maddie:
"My ep “Four Chords” is available for purchase on iTunes, and is also available on Apple Music, Spotify, and anywhere else music is sold/streamed. My name is Maddie Corinne, and you can find me on Instagram under @/maddiecorinnemusic"
CLOSING
"Maddie was motivated by 3 or 4 years of songwriting. I like how she said that the five songs told a story. Each one connected to each other in it's own unique way. Like chapters in a book that leaves the Reader engaged her EP "Four Chords" does the same. In "Blue Front Door" I felt as if Maddie lets you into a moment in her life. She paints a beautiful picture with her words. She makes great music. She has the gift of making you feel something. No matter how many sad songs or how many times you miss someone her EP tells a story. That at the end of her songs you will feel that you found Home. Whetever is important to you in your life Maddie's music knows how to open your mind and your heart to good vibes with her beautiful voice and words that make you appreciate good music. Go to iTunes, Spotify, or anywhere you like to download music and buy "Four Chords" by Maddie Corinne."
