Jason:                                       "What motivated you to write “Misty Treasure?”"


Linda:

                                                   "Misty Treasure is the fourth book of my Misty Point Mystery Series. As the series progresses, each book is written around some of the things we love most about the beach and shore. Since the beginning of the series, I’ve wanted to write about a treasure hunt at the beach. Treasure hunts are always fun and fantastical, even though usually romanced a bit. Either way, we always want to wrap it up in a mystery."


Jason:                                         "What characteristic of Megan can you relate to the most and why?"


Linda:

                                                     "In the first book, Megan returns to her childhood home to take care of her grandmother. That strikes a chord with me as I did exactly the same with my grandmother before her death. Privately, I work in the healthcare field and do a lot with hospice so I understand the sense of anxiety and feelings of being powerless at times. One of Megan’s continued goals will be to become more assertive and help others as she settles back into living at the beach."


Jason:                                            "Briefly describe “Misty Treasure.”"


Linda:

                                                        "When renovations in the library of Misty Manor lead to the discovery of a hundred-year-old treasure map, chaos erupts in the town of Misty Point, NJ. To confirm the map is real, Megan seeks the help of a professional surfer who specializes in shipwrecks. But before the treasure hunt starts, a dead body is found under the boardwalk with a bloody photo of Misty Manor nearby. With the help of her boyfriend, Nick Taylor, an officer on the Misty Point Police force, and her friends, Georgie and Amber, Megan searches for treasure."

                                                         "In the midst of greed, confusion and terror, Megan and Nick must find the treasure and a killer before it’s too late."


Jason:                                               "Are you working on another book and if so, what can you tell us about it?"


Linda:

                                                           "Yes, I continue to work on the Misty Point mystery series. I am currently writing the fifth book in the series. There will be another twist to the story and it should be released Summer 2019. The story will continue the tales of Megan, Nick, Georgie, and Amber solving mysteries in Misty Point, NJ. Other fan favorites, such as Billy, Marie, Tommy and Doogie will be featured as well."
