Carolyn Bowen "The Long Road Home" An Interview with Carolyn Bowen by Jason E. Foss
"Each Great Author has something about them that stands out. Their stories they create are as unique as a fingerprint. Their passion for writing shows every time their pen meets paper. Carolyn Bowen is one of these amazing Authors that can write a story so compelling you might lose track of time. You get lost in her words and as each page is turned you feel like you are somewhere in the story itself. She was willing to share with us where she gets her motivation."
Jason E. Foss
Jason: "What motivated you to write "The Long Road Home"?"
"The Long Road Home was written by inspiration from the places I’d traveled and imaginary folks I conjured from a lifetime of observing people."
"This is the easiest novel I’ve ever written. The words flowed like a river making it difficult sometimes to keep up with the flow of words."
"I admit to enjoying every minute of the writing of this novel sometimes feeling suspended between worlds. In other words, it was a surreal experience."
Jason: "Describe the character Kate and what could you relate to most about this character?"
"Kate had a sheltered upbringing but was ready to take life by the horns as an adult. The problem was she wasn’t equipped to recognize danger and judge the character of those closest to her and/or her acquaintances."
"I can relate to Kate’s dilemmas from being blindsided by people or situations in my past. How to live life successfully is learned by experiences and as Kate, I’ve had my share."
Jason: "For those that want to read this amazing book briefly describe "The Long Road Home."
"Kate’s life was in turmoil after the death of her parents. She’d always been protected and sheltered by them. Suddenly she finds herself with a conniving fiancé living under her roof, a powerful businessman with terrorist ties from across the ocean trying to kill her and more family secrets than most American politicians."
"She was also unaware that a half-brother she knew nothing of was about to enter her life. Her situation was getting precarious right at the moment she was least able to cope with it."
Jason: "Is there a new book you are working on and if so what can you share about it with us?"
"I’m preparing to announce a new mystery thriller series in early 2019. I can’t wait to tell everyone about it. It’s been a long time coming! You’ll see a countdown to the release date soon!"
Jason: "For your many fans and book lovers that want to read your book, where is the easiest place they can go to buy "The Long Road Home?"
"The Long Road Home is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and wherever fine books are sold."
"The ebook (Kindle) is exclusively available through Amazon Kindle Unlimited for free reading.

"So Carolyn got her motivation from imaginary characters she created over a lifetime of observing people and was also inspired by the places she traveled to over the years. The term 'writers block' felt light years away. Like when a star athlete has a crowd going wild because they just can't miss a shot Carolyn was 'in the zone'. Her words flowed almost effortlessly as her pen tried to keep up with the magic of her imagination. Book lovers that want a captivating story from beginning to end go to Amazon.com and buy "The Long Road Home"."
